About this project
Rico is a full-stack workshop management platform built for GMB Rico, an automotive repair business in New York, USA. It gives the team one reliable workspace for customers, vehicles, appointments, estimates, services, invoices, and payments.
I designed and developed the platform around the workshop's real daily workflow. Staff can prepare detailed labor-and-parts estimates, track job progress, schedule work, record partial or completed payments, and send or print customer-ready invoices without moving between disconnected tools.
By keeping estimates, payments, job status, and invoices synchronized, Rico reduces repeated data entry, improves billing accuracy, makes outstanding balances easier to track, and gives the workshop a clearer view of daily operations.
Built end to end with Next.js, React, TypeScript, NestJS, MongoDB, and Resend, the project demonstrates my ability to model complex business workflows and deliver reliable, production-focused frontend and backend systems.
